Bad Buster

Update: well, I’m finishing up with the research for my USA Players Top List, and I’ve never had so much fun doing homework. Expect to see that page pop up as soon as possible, given that I’m still wrangling over my loan refi. In the meanwhile, I’ve found a bunch of new US-friendly online casinos for The List, which is great news because I was afraid that the June 1st implementation of the UIGEA would make online casino operators a little nervous…

…and, while we’re on the subject, also on the back burner is a page specifically dedicated to payment methods. While there’s little shortage of online casinos that accept Visa, there’s still plenty of players who would like info about other credit cards, not to mention e-wallets and pre-paid cards.

There’s also a number of people who are bit confused (and often frustrated) by the major differences that most online casinos have between deposit methods and withdrawal methods. I’ll include the info on my page, but for the time being, here’s the simple version: there’s usually about three times as many ways to deposit as there are to withdraw. Check first, avoid heartache later.

Oh, and if you use a credit card, you’re almost certainly going to have to validate it the first time you use it at the online casino, and that can take some time (and probably a fax).

Many more helpful tips like this when I get my work done!

Thank you for stopping by. As you may already know, the Bad Buster project seems to have fizzled out. I don’t really know anything more about it, I’m afraid; the domain came to me with little to no infiormation about its past.

From what I can gather, Bad Buster was an ambitious aggregate application and database whose sole purpose was to identify the level of environmental impact any given company might have, and provide users with the tools to evaluate and (if necessary, for whatever reason) contact the companies directly.

Personally, I think it’s a great idea. I don’t really have the skills or the time to build something like that and assemble all of the relevant data, but I’m totally in favor of the project.

My area of expertise is more along the lines of online slots and other online casino USA games. Not quite as noble, perhaps, but surprisingly idealistic in a very specific sense (if you have a spare hour or two, I could fill you in on the hypocritical dichotomy between the political party platforms of our officials and and their curious trends in implementation of vague and often self-contradictory laws concerning gambling and especially interstate and international lines being crossed and abridgments of basic Bill of Rights liberties….but I digress).

Where was I? Oh yes, Bad Buster. I’m sorry to see it go (though I’d probably be sorrier if I’d known it while it was around). Still, we can all do our part — I’ll be happy to pass along any information about Bad Buster that comes my way, and I’ll leave this page up so that unsuspecting visitors won’t simply see the good ol’ 404 page.

Meanwhile, I hope you don’t mind if I talk a bit about how great online slots are? They are great, you know. And nothing about them is bad for the environment (intrinsically, of course…I suppose there’s a bit of a carbon footprint from the electronics that host the data or view the online casino USA).
